Terms and Conditions

OUTSIDE CATERING

This is only permitted by external vendors holding the appropriate insurance and hygiene certification. Bringing catering from your own home is not permitted with the exception of celebratory cakes and confectionery.

SECURE YOUR BOOKING

We require a minimum £50 deposit to secure your date, £500 for weddings or any other all day event, this is not refundable if cancelled. Interim balance to be paid 14 days in advance of your event, this is not refundable if you cancel your event within these 14 days. Any remaining balance is due 48hrs before your event.  Wedding contracts will be provided,  payment plans are available. 

ROOM HIRE CHARGES

function rooms - £50 per hour for all children’s parties and 18th birthday parties - £30 per hour for 21st birthdays & bookings with less than 50 adult guests. Tearoom - £50 minimum hire for two hours, £20 per hour thereafter. These charges are for your exclusive use for any reason, charity events may have fees waived at the discretion of management. There is no room hire for bookings in the bar area, ask about our free buffet option available to any party of over 10 guests in the public bar area. 

DECORATIONS

We have an in house service available for decorating the venue, please ask for details. If you are decorating yourself please include time for this in your booking. Helium canisters cannot be brought on site, we do not allow table confetti or sellotape, use of either will result in the loss of deposit. Damage caused during your event may result in loss of deposit.

Any items left for later collection are left at you own risk. All vendors including DJ’s and decorators must coordinate with our event team for drop off and pick up of equipment.

Refund policy

If you are unhappy with service, venue, value for money or quality of your food or beverages, we encourage you to request to speak to a manager. Most issues can be resolved. Rude, loud or aggressive customers will not be tolerated and they may be asked to leave the premises. We understand that if we’ve made a mistake it’s up to us to resolve it, however, we can’t do this if you’re shouting at us.  We would like you to remember that everyone is human and no one is perfect, after all, we are here to serve you and make you happy.


Refund policy, based on our previous experience with customers.

- If you ate it or drank it, you pay for it. You will not get a refund if you complain after you have finished it, that still counts even if you fed it to your dog.

- If you didn’t order it but it arrived at your table,  you will be charged for it, so don’t keep it, eat it and then expect a refund.

- If your food hasn’t arrived within 15 minutes and you didn’t tell us you were in a hurry to get to the airport. Please don’t expect to not pay your bill because you have to leave the building.

- We have an order at the Bar policy,  therefore a long wait to have your order taken will not receive you any discount or refunds. 

- We will always offer a replacement or a voucher before we offer a cash refund.  This is to give us the opportunity to show you we can do better, please allow us to do this.

- If you are rational and understanding, accept our apologies and allows to fix any problems, we will refund you without you even having to ask.
